School Impact (Developer) Fees

 

Starting July 1, 2012, the San Mateo Union High School District will collect School Impact (also known as Developer) Fees for the San Mateo/Foster City Elementary School District. To pay the total School Impact Fee for the City of San Mateo and the City of Foster City, or the High School District only portion of the School Impact Fees for Hillsborough, Millbrae and unincorporated Burlingame, please bring your paperwork to Camille Clemens at:

The combined San Mateo Union High School District and San Mateo/Foster City Elementary School District School Impact Fees for the cities of San Mateo and Foster City are:

$3.48 sq foot for residential

$0.56 sq foot for commercial

The High School District only portion of School Impact Fees for the cities of Hillsborough, Millbrae, San Bruno and unincorporated Burlingame  are:

$1.39 sq foot for residential

$0.22 sq foot for commercial

 

No fees are charged for new construction or additions that are under 500 sq feet

The District takes checks or cash, we are not able to take credit cards or debit cards at this time.

Notice of Proposal to Implement Developer Fees

A public hearing was held by the Governing Board of the San Mateo Union High School District at its regular meeting on March 24, 2016, in which the Board adopted a resolution implementing school facilities fees in accordance with Education Code Section 17620.

Further information on the costs of school services and facilities and other available revenue, including the general fund, will be available at the District Office as of April 1, 2016.
